This section provides information about publishers or depositories of cases. Some of the sites may only list cases published by that institution, while others act as clearinghouses and feature cases from a wide variety of sources.

Asia Case Research Centre: Business cases developed by The School of Business of the Hong Kong University that are Asian business related are carried here. This site provides access to abstracts and teaching notes. The full text of the cases can be ordered on-line.

BELL Case Studies: Business Environment Learning and Leadership (BELL), a project initiated by the World Resources Institute (WRI), publishes numerous teaching cases with accompanying teaching notes, developed by professors in all management disciplines, to help incorporate environmental and sustainability issues into the management curriculum.

Case Program at John F. Kennedy School of Government: The Case Program is the world's largest producer and repository of case studies regarding how government works, how public policy is made and how nonprofit organizations operate. The site allows the user to search through more than 1,800 cases.

CasePlace.org: CasePlace.org focuses on cases that incorporate "social impact management" into business education. It is a service of the Aspen Institute's Initiative for Social Innovation through Business.

Darden Case Studies: The Darden case studies from the Darden Business Publishing provides an extensive selection of educational tools. The cases are searchable by title, author, case number, topic, or keyword. There is also a limited selection of cases available for previewing in full-text.

Design Management Institute (DMI) Case Studies: Design Management Institute case studies examine the roles that design and design management play in business success. These cases focus on the understanding of how companies actually manage their design resources; how design relates to other functions like engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and corporate communications; and how design decisions affect many facets of an organization. The DMI collection includes some cases sold by Harvard Business School.

European Case Clearinghouse: The European Case Clearinghouse is designed to serve the users of cases as well as authors by providing mechanisms of publication. Their library has over 16,000 titles including cases, teaching notes, internet cases, videos, etc. Cases of various management teaching establishments as well as case studies in many languages are distributed.

Foundation for Advanced Studies in International Development (FASID) Case Collection: FASID selected cases deal mainly with subject matters relevant in international development and compiled Casebooks. There are both English and Japanese cases listed in the Casebooks. Abstracts of these cases and ordering information is available on the site. All the cases are accompanied by teaching notes. This link leads to the English site, but there is a link to the Japanese site available.

Harvard Business School Cases: The case collection of the HBS includes more than 7,500 HBS case studies, teaching notes, background notes, case videos and software ancillaries. In addition to publishing its own cases HBS also acts as a distributor to other case publishers such as DMI, Centre for Asian Business Cases, and Stanford. It also has reprints from the Harvard Business Review and other journals.

Kellogg School of Management Case Collection: Kellogg School of Management offers cases that academic researchers and business trainers can use for educational purposes. The search result will direct users to an abstract of the case and full access to the text is available for a fee.

North American Case Research Association (NACRA): The North American Research Association is an organization of some 450 case writers and teachers mostly in the business area. The site features abstracts of cases published in their annual conference as well as information about the "Case Research Journal".

Richard Ivey School of Business Cases: Ivey Publishing markets Ivey cases and Ivey Business Journal reprints. Its collection has nearly 2000 cases and they are also the Canadian distributor of HBS cases.

South-Western's CaseNet: CaseNet Service is designed for instructors, it is a depository of cases through partnerships with The Kennedy School, Harvard University, NYU Salomon Centre, NACRA, and other institutions. Their site offers cases in the categories of accounting, business/law ethics, economics, finance, management and marketing.

Stanford Graduate School of Business: The cases of the Stanford Business School are presented here. The database has all cases written from 1994 to date plus some selected cases written prior 1994. You can search the database by author, title, case number, date or keyword. The search result will drive you to an abstract of the case; full access to the text is available for a fee.

Thunderbird Case Series: International business cases and notes authored by the faculty of Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management are provided here. Both field and library cases are offered. All cases have a detailed teaching note (available only to faculty) and have been classroom-tested for pedagogy and content. Sample examination copies can be downloaded.
