Global Threats and Political Risk
The CSIS brings information in three basic areas, assessment of international political risk, analysis of regional affairs, and international security and stability. CSIS counts with 190 researchers and keeps resident experts on the world's major geographical areas.
Established in 1985 by the US Department of State, OSAC’s main goal is to foster the exchange of security information between the US government and US private companies operating abroad. This report published by the World Bank presents a global view of major natural disaster risk hotspots, which are areas at relatively high risk of loss from one or more natural hazards. It summarizes the results of an interdisciplinary analysis of the location and characteristics of hotspots for six natural hazards: earthquakes, volcanoes, landslides, floods, drought, and cyclones. Data on these hazards are combined with state-of-the-art data on the subnational distribution of population and economic output and past disaster losses to identify areas at relatively high risk from one or more hazards.

This is the official website of The Community Food Security Coalition, a non-profit North American organization dedicated to building secured food system. It provides information regarding various events and programs of the organization focusing on food security, as well as news and featured articles on related topics.
Focusing on the U.S. food supply, ERS provides analyses of the economic issues on its safety. These analyses incorporate the effectiveness and equity of alternative programs and policies intended to shield consumers from unsafe food. Also included are analyses of the costs and benefits of different regulations and food safety technologies.

The official website of FAO provides wide range of information regarding the food security issues in developing countries. In its "Highlights Archive", and "Information Resources", readers can use countries and regions as criteria and find large amount of articles and information on food security topics. The website can be viewed through English, French, Spanish, and Chinese.
This website provides access to Food Security information and resources produced by the EC-FAO Food Security Information for Action Programme. The purpose of the program is to educate using food security information from different sectors and sources to create more effective anti-hunger policies and programs. Each program country is highlighted and publications are organized by topic.
FoodSafety.gov is a gateway website that provides links to selected government food-safety related information. This site is part of the National Food Safety Information Network. It is maintained by FDA's Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition.
GMFS is funded by the European Space Agency and provides early warning, agricultural mapping and crop yield assessment services in support of food security monitoring activities in Africa. Publications are published throughout the project and are available on the site and the "Catalogue" section contains interactive maps for GMFS areas.
The mission of the International Food Policy Research Institute is to provide policy solutions that cut malnutrition and hunger. Research is organized into different sections and an interactive map provides easy access to country specific information on food policy.
