Cybercafe provides a database of verified cybercafes worldwide, searchable by city or country. Detail is provided on the location of the cafe, as well as a link to their website. No payment is required, but a survey must be completed for continual use.
The site lists embassies of other nations located at a specific country, embassies of a specific country located around the world, as well as United Nations Missions. Also, the site provides links to websites that provide information on relocating to and living in another country.
This guide to international living provides useful information about living overseas for international job seekers, expatriates, and tax exiles. Exploring Abroad contains both free and commercial information for those wanting to work, teach, study, or travel abroad. The site features country profiles, recent articles about going abroad, and a wealth of other resources. Site is available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP (FRAGOMEN) provides information and guidance about business visas, employment authorizations and family and dependent entry permits for nearly 60 countries worldwide including the U. S. The country specific immigration information can be found under “Country Summaries” in the “Resources” section.
This site gives information about finding a job internationally. It has specific information on 24 different countries, and also offers articles on "hot topics" related to global employment. Users can search for information by country or by industry. More in-depth guides can be purchased and downloaded.
The archive of quarterly report indexes of living costs abroad, quarters allowances, hardship differentials and danger pay allowances used calculating compensation for U.S. Government civilian employees for costs related to assignments abroad. The user can find prior year reports as well as detailed explanations of methods used.
Travel
Launched in the UK, the Business Traveller magazine provides information for the frequent business traveler on topics such as aviation, hotels, etc. While there is no online access to the current issue of the Business Traveller magazine, access is available for past issues and other helpful information. The City Guides section features compact guides to visiting major cities of the world.
Travel Advisories from the Canadian Dept. of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. The services are targeted at Canadian nationals but other users will find the pages useful. Information is provided by country and covers entry/visa requirements, safety, health, country travel updates and current issues.
Gapyear.com provides detailed travel guides to 112 countries, including information such as what to do there, how to get around, tips and tales, and other essential information. Elsewhere on the site is general travel advice, an around the world planner available upon free registration, and information on travel insurance, jobs, taxes, health, money, and visas and embassies.
Serving over one billion costumers, GSM mobile phones are part of one of the most widely used telecommunication networks. GSM World provides news on the new developments in the mobile phone industry. One of the most useful tools is the subsection "GSM Roaming", which gives users information regarding the type of mobile phone coverage provided by each country. Either you intend to travel, or you just want to check the weather in any part of the world, Weather Channel can give you information on the current weather conditions and a ten day or hour-by-hour forecast for any place on the planet. Also, Weather Channel provides a useful temperature converter (F-C or C-F).
WorldClimate is a comprehensive site providing weather data for cities around the world. Temperature, sea-level pressure, and rainfall information can be accessed and used for general or long-term planning.

This guide to Bulgaria is provided by the Sofia Echo, a Bulgarian news provider. Topics covered include politics, geography, history, statistics, tips, and more information pertinent to living in Bulgaria.
This resource contains a comprehensive list of topics covering various aspects of living and working in China. In addition to providing information on cultural aspects and useful information, Expats in China offers a free introduction to the Chinese language. Anyone who is thinking about traveling to China, even for a short period of time, should check out this site beforehand.
This is an official website of Chinese government. It provides information regarding travel in China, such as attractions, traveling tips, and tourism-related laws.
CzechTourism provides some general information about the Czech Republic and its regions. Also, information is provided on transportation, accommodation, money, visas, health, renting apartments, dining etiquette, cuisine and shopping tips. This is a multi-lingual site.
Estonian Tax and Customs Board provide information on customs regulations for traveling to Estonia. Specific information is provided on travel from a EU member state or a non-EU state. The site also presents a series of restrictions and prohibitions on different products, ranging from food to plants to medicine. The site is also available in Estonian and Russian.
Malta Online offers comprehensive coverage of everything from businesses to travel information. A detailed web directory provides information about many key services offered in Malta.
The Travel Guide provides information on transportation to Poland, currency, visa requirements, food and drink, opening hours of shops and offices, and a brief history of the country, among other topics. The site is available in English, Polish and German.
